Final Project Concept
This week, I created a video cover for my project The Death of Narcissus to present the main atmosphere and emotional tone. The image uses soft light and muted color to show both beauty and sadness. It represents the fragile balance between reflection and reality. Through the light and texture, I tried to express the feeling of loneliness and self-awareness that exists in the story.

The Mood Board includes many symbolic images: blooming narcissus flowers, a broken mirror with two faces, human hands reaching for the face, and figures that seem to be loved and watched by others.
There are also references to Narcissus reborn from the earth and the inner world of the human mind.
Together, these visuals create a strong contrast between admiration and emptiness — being seen by everyone, but unable to see one’s true self.

I also made a simple storyboard sketch showing Narcissus kneeling by the lake, looking at his reflection in the water.
The composition places him in the center of nature — surrounded by rocks, trees, and soft light.
The forest becomes like a quiet temple, and the water surface acts as a mirror to his soul.
This scene will become the foundation for my Unreal environment experiment later.

In the next stage, I will start to plan the structure of my short film and create a colored storyboard to explore the visual rhythm and atmosphere.
I will continue to research both the concept and technical process, such as lighting design, reflection effects, and stylized color choices in Unreal Engine.
Through this process, I hope to find a balance between artistic feeling and digital experimentation, and to keep developing my ideas step by step.
