This week we learned about weight shift and the foundation of walk cycles.
We studied how the hips and legs work together and how to show balance and weight in a pose.
I recorded my own reference videos from side view and front view, and analyzed how the hips move when I step or get up from a chair.
Then I broke the motion into key poses, planned them on paper, and animated the blocking in Maya
This week I continued improving my ball with tail animation.
In the previous version, there were issues such as ground intersection, uneven air poses, and weak tail anticipation.
After receiving feedback from George, I corrected these problems and made the movement smoother and more believable.
