In Week 12, I put my main focus on the atmosphere of my Narcissus project. I wanted the sequence to feel quiet and emotional, and I tried to keep a consistent visual tone across all shots. In Unreal Engine, I used post process settings to shape the overall look and keep it stable between different camera angles. I paid attention to exposure balance and contrast so the image did not feel too flat, and I adjusted colour balance to support the mood.
For the final output, I rendered my shots from Level Sequence in Sequencer. I set camera cuts, frame range, and output settings, and I also used the class tips to improve quality for the final render. I understood that the viewport is only a preview, so the final render needs cleaner settings to avoid noisy shadows or unstable reflections.
After exporting from Unreal, I did the final work in After Effects. I composited my renders there and adjusted the look more carefully. Then I moved to Premiere Pro for editing. In Premiere, I organised the shots, added timing and rhythm, and did the final colour correction to keep the whole sequence consistent. This pipeline felt clearer for me than doing everything inside Unreal. It also gave me more control over the final mood and the pacing, which is important for the Narcissus theme.
