Week11 Body Mechanics Feedback

With George

In Week 11, George gave more detailed feedback on my body mechanics animation. This week focused on refining movement details and improving clarity.

First, George gave specific feedback on the arm movement during the jump take-off. He explained that the arms should swing more clearly to support the jump and help show energy and direction. The timing of the arm swing needs to work together with the legs and body, so the movement feels connected.

Second, during the roll, George pointed out that the head should stay more stable instead of moving too much. A steadier head helps the audience read the motion more clearly and keeps the roll from looking messy.

Finally, George asked me to look at the overall centre of gravity and track its movement path. He explained that the weight should move smoothly and logically through the whole action.

This helped me understand that good body mechanics is not only about single poses, but also about how the weight flows across the entire shot.
