With George
In Week 9, the class moved into the spline stage of body mechanics animation. George reviewed my planning and said the difficulty level was very high. He pointed out that during the rolling action, the motion needs to be controlled frame by frame, which means almost every frame needs a key. I understood this challenge and told him I was willing to try and push myself, even though it would take more time and careful control.
With Ting
Ting also mentioned that my planning was very ambitious. Before attending Ting’s class, I had already finished the blocking stage. During the feedback, Ting pointed out some problems with my body curves. Some poses were too stiff, and the spine and body flow were not clear enough. This feedback helped me realise that even with correct timing, body mechanics still need clear curves and smooth movement.
