Week4 Juice Box Polishing

This week, the main focus was polishing the juice box animation. I had never done polishing before, but after watching Ting’s demonstration, I understood that polishing means adjusting the animation rhythm, adding details, and refining movements to improve the quality. For my animation, I adjusted the speed and frame count of the juice box standing-up motion to make it feel heavier. During the jumping and attacking actions, I followed the animation curves to make the anticipation and follow-through more exaggerated, which helped to increase the animation’s expressiveness. Finally, I made overall adjustments to the animation curves for a smoother result.

We worked on Franky’s three poses showing different emotions while standing or sitting. I also experimented with some interesting lighting to make the scene more expressive.
